Terms and Conditions

 

PLEASE READ OUR TERMS AND CONDITIONS CAREFULLY

 

1)       Production lead times are calculated from the date of receipt of your signed order acknowledgement and deposit cheque.

2)       The quoted prices are based on the assumption that easy access will be provided for any vehicles to within 25 metres of the area in which the equipment is to be installed. If this is not the case, we reserve the right to levy additional charges.

3)       It is the customer's sole responsibility to provide us with a site survey plan (provided by Timberline) including a plan of all routes of all pipes, wires, conduits etc on the customer's property. If the customer fails to provide the plans by the agreed date, we will not be liable for any loss or damage perceived to have arisen as a result of our actions. The customer agrees to indemnify us against any claims made against us.

4)       If, having agreed an installation start date and our operatives are unable to commence work on the agreed day due to the site not being prepared as specified, poor or inadequate access for machinery, delays caused by other trades or delays outside of our responsibility, we reserve the right to levy a wasted day charge of £350.

5)       With the exception of the Skydreamer Self Assembly range and Gazova canopies, all Timberline products carry a 10-year guarantee against timber rot and decay. They also carry a one-year guarantee against faulty materials and workmanship. However, timber will continue to adapt to atmospheric conditions and it is perfectly natural that some cracks, shakes and knots will occur.  These do not effect the structural strength of the timber and are not, therefore, covered under the terms of this warranty. Damage due to vandalism, abuse, Acts of God, severe weather conditions, abnormal usage and unauthorized third parties is also not warranted.  This warranty will be made null and void if the proper maintenance schedules have not been adhered to.

6)       The Skydreamer Self Assembly range carries a one year guarantee against faulty parts, subject to correct assembly and fixing of the play system.  Our Gazova canopies carry a 5 year guarantee as long as the proper maintenance schedules have been adhered to.

7)       Timberline reserve the right to change product specification without notice.

8)       Whilst the roofs of all our products are showerproof, they are not deemed to be fully waterproof unless otherwise specified.

9)       Goods supplied by the company to the purchaser shall remain the sole and absolute property of the company as legal and equitable owner until such time as the purchaser shall have paid the full price of the goods set in the invoice. The company reserves the right to enter any of the purchaser's premises for the purposes of searching for, examining, marking or removing any goods which have been supplied by the company but which have not been paid for.

10)   Deposits paid are non-refundable.

11)   Payment terms are strictly 30 days from date of invoice unless otherwise specified on your Order Acknowledgement.  For Residential orders, the balance is payable on the installation day.

12)   Orders placed through any third party contractors will require full payment prior to installation.

13)   Where digging in of play equipment is required and, whilst we take care to ensure that minimum damage is caused, we are not responsible for any reinstatement unless otherwise specified.

14)   It is the customer's responsibility to ensure no planning consent is required for the equipment, prior to installation.

15)   We reserve the right, at any time, to increase the price of our goods and/or services in the event of any variation in the cost to ourselves in supplying the same, or any part thereof, caused by any reason whatsoever beyond our control.

16)   It is the customer's responsibility to ensure adequate safety surfacing is provided and the correct free space is available for the equipment.

 

SAFER SURFACING TERMS AND CONDITIONS

 

1)       Safer surfacing products carry the following guarantees:  Lawnmat - 3 years; Black Wetpour - 1 year; Coloured Wetpour - 3 years.  The labour element of these products carries a one year warranty.  Normal wear and tear, vandalism, Acts of God and damage caused by activities outside the uses for which the surfacing us intended are excluded from the terms of the guarantee.

2)       Every effort will be made to create a seamless finish on completed surfaces. However, this may not be possible on areas of 100m2 or more or if installation work is broken by adverse weather conditions.

3)       Installation is subject to satisfactory weather conditions.

4)       Quoted prices are based on the assumption that easy access will be provided for vehicles to within 25 metres of the area to be surfaced.

5)       When ground conditions are soft, whilst we take care to ensure that the minimum damage is caused, we are not responsible for any reinstatement unless otherwise specified.

6)       If applicable, existing manholes/access points will be overlaid with surfacing as standard practice.

7)       Where installation has been quoted, the price assumes good access and digging in a grassed area but should difficulties be encountered, for example hardcore, tarmac, concrete, cables etc in our excavations, we reserve the right to adjust our costings accordingly.
