Timberline wins big order from Thorpe Park
Timberline, in association with Fundraising Skills, are organising a one day workshop for schools on July 7th 2008 in Bristol.
This is a practical bid-writing workshop that provides delegates with all the knowledge and skills needed to write successful funding bids for their schools as well as identifying key sources of funding.
Each delegate will benefit from model answers, successful case study applications, practical bid writing exercises and grant research tools to save them time and to boost confidence in future grant application submissions. The focus of the day will be on securing funding for the development of outdoor areas and playgrounds with a Level 3 Certificate from the Open College Network awarded to all delegates who complete the bid writing exercises on the day. Most importantly, Fundraising Skills will also offer advice on where to source current grant programmes and all delegates will leave with a handout of these lists.
The day is very much intended for anyone who is involved in any shape or form for raising funds for their school - but principally those who should attend include school bursars, head teachers, finance managers, business managers, PTA representatives and school governors.
The event takes place on July 7th 2008 at Armada House and Conference Centre in Bristol and costs £249 plus VAT per delegate although an early-bird discount is available for all bookings before 23rd June. Timberline is also offering a voucher worth £250 which can be redeemed against any future purchase.
